If you would like to be a coordinator for Stepping Up Action Against Radon during National Radon Action Month in  your state in 2012, please sign up.  Gathering individuals to participate, contacting the media, securing a spreaker, obtaining a permit from the capital if needed, and obtaining a sign for the event is necessary for the event to be successful.  The purpose of Capital Steps to Radon Action is to increase radon awareness and education to all of the public, to kick off another year of the travels of Radon Tee, and to emphasize National Radon Action Month.  For assistance in organizing, contact  radontee@cansar.org with all of your information.

One Response to “States Participating in Capitol Steps”

  1. Our management has become very alarmed at the levels of Radon that have been found in Utah communities and is currently becoming certified for measurement and mitigation to be able to provide this indoor air quality service to our clients.

we are interested in finding out about organizing one of these events to bring awareness to these communities. I had not personally been aware of the risks from radon and want to scream it from the rooftops to everyone. Is someone already organizing an event for Utah that we can help or are you looking for someone to spearhead one?

    Let me know.
    Valerie
